Welcome to Hello Puerto Rico!. These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Hello Puerto Rico! and any individual purchasing or participating in our excursions. By completing a reservation on our website or through any affiliated booking platform, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these terms:
1. Booking, Rates, and Payment
All reservations must be secured at the time of booking via a valid credit card. Rates published on our website are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice; however, rates are guaranteed once a booking confirmation has been issued. Prices include the specified guided tour services but exclude optional gratuities for guides, personal expenses, or any items not explicitly listed in the tour description.
2. Participant Responsibilities and Safety
Participants are responsible for ensuring they possess the appropriate physical fitness, attire, and mobility required for the specific excursion booked. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to read the tour descriptions carefully regarding walking distances, terrain, and environmental exposure. Hello Puerto Rico! reserves the right to decline participation to any individual who appears intoxicated, unfit for the physical demands of the activity, or whose behavior threatens the safety, comfort, and well-being of the guide or other guests. In such instances, no refunds will be issued.
3. Punctuality and Check-In
Our excursions operate on strict schedules to respect the time of all participants. Guests are required to arrive at the designated meeting point at least fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Tour itineraries begin promptly at the stated time. Hello Puerto Rico! cannot delay tour departures for late arrivals, and failure to arrive on time will result in the forfeiture of the reservation without the right to a refund, credit, or rescheduling.
4. Media Release and Photography
During our excursions, digital media such as photographs and videos may be captured by our staff or designated representatives. By participating in a Hello Puerto Rico! tour, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to utilize such media for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes across our digital platforms, print materials, and social media channels. If you prefer not to be photographed, you must notify your guide prior to the commencement of the tour.
5. Limitation of Liability
Hello Puerto Rico! maintains high standards of safety and risk management; however, participation in outdoor excursions inherently involves certain risks. By purchasing a tour, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with outdoor travel, walking over varied terrain, and changing tropical weather elements. Hello Puerto Rico!, its owners, and its employees shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, loss of personal effects, illness, delay, or logistical inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond our direct control, including acts of nature, local infrastructure disruptions, or the actions of third-party vendors.
6. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, alongside all services rendered by Hello Puerto Rico!, shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or disputes arising from our services must be filed exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction within Puerto Rico.
